Wait, Quince Sells Augustinus Bader? The Beauty Brands You Didn’t Know They Sold

From luxury skincare to haircare favorites and designer-inspired fragrances, Quince has a beauty department worth exploring. Plus, there's a shopping perk you should know about. And no, this article is not sponsored.

I’ve always associated Quince with beautiful cashmere, affordable luxury, and wardrobe staples that look considerably more expensive than they actually are. But skincare? Haircare? Augustinus Bader?!

Turns out, Quince has been quietly building an impressive beauty department featuring Augustinus Bader, 111SKIN, Olaplex, Living Proof, True Botanicals, and Supergoop!, among others.

And here’s the interesting part: many of these products come with Quince credit toward a future purchase. Naturally, I went exploring. Purely for editorial research, of course.

First, Let’s Talk About That Quince Credit

Quince’s third-party marketplace offers a rather nice incentive: earn store credit when purchasing eligible beauty products.

Here’s the quick version:

·       Shop: Purchase an eligible product from Quince’s marketplace.

·       Earn: Receive the amount of Quince credit displayed on the product listing.

·       Save: Apply that credit toward a future eligible Quince purchase once it’s issued to your account.

For example, the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream (50ml) is listed at $315 with $75 back in Quince credit. You pay $315 today and receive $75 toward a future purchase.

It’s not an instant discount, and credit amounts vary. But if my moisturizer wants to help finance my next cashmere sweater, who am I to argue?

The Beauty Brands Worth Knowing About

Augustinus Bader — Luxury Skincare with a Serious Following

Luxury skincare enthusiasts need little introduction to Augustinus Bader. Known for its proprietary TFC8® technology and devoted following, the brand’s lineup at Quince includes The Rich Cream, The Cream, The Serum, and The Rich Eye Cream. These are serious skincare investments, so earning Quince credit along the way certainly helps soften the financial blow. A little.

Quince Eau de Parfum — Designer-Inspired Fragrance Without the Designer Price Tag

Here’s a surprise: Quince has its own collection of eau de parfums, with a sophisticated fragrance aesthetic reminiscent of brands like Byredo. Scents including Bois de Santal, Côte d'Azur, and Les Cerises are priced around $50. While inspired-by fragrances aren’t necessarily identical to their luxury counterparts, they’re certainly worth exploring. Because my fragrance collection clearly needs more company.

Olaplex — The Haircare Heavyweight

Between coloring, heat styling, and Miami humidity, my hair has been through enough. Olaplex’s bond-building formulas are designed to help strengthen damaged hair, and Quince carries favorites including No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo, No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner, and No.7 Bonding Oil. Already an Olaplex devotee? Earning Quince credit on your next restock is a nice bonus.

111SKIN — A Little Luxury for Your Face

111SKIN brings the luxury facial experience home with high-performance skincare and indulgent treatments. Quince carries the Celestial Black Diamond Lifting and Firming Facial Mask and Wrinkle Erasing Retinol Patches, among other offerings. Are these absolute necessities? Probably not. But neither is a cashmere sweater in Miami, and yet here we are.

True Botanicals — Botanical Skincare with a Luxurious Side

True Botanicals combines plant-derived ingredients with sophisticated skincare formulations. Quince carries its popular Renew Pure Radiance Face Oil, designed to nourish and boost radiance, along with the Pure Radiance Overnight Lip Treatment. And while I already own enough lip treatments to open a small boutique, I’m always willing to consider another applicant.

Living Proof — Science Meets Good Hair Days

Living Proof takes a science-driven approach to everything from volume to frizz control. Quince carries favorites from its Full collection and the popular Perfect Hair Day dry shampoos. As someone living in Miami, I consider frizz management less of a beauty routine and more of an ongoing negotiation with the weather. So far, the weather is winning.

Supergoop! — SPF You’ll Actually Want to Wear

You knew sunscreen would make this list. Supergoop! has made daily SPF considerably more appealing with favorites like Unseen Sunscreen SPF 50 and the glow-enhancing Glowscreen SPF 40, both available at Quince. Living in Miami means sunscreen is a year-round commitment. January, July, a random Tuesday in October. The sun doesn’t consult my calendar.

Final Thoughts

I went looking at Quince for beautiful basics and came away with a considerably longer beauty shopping list. Between the impressive brand selection and the opportunity to earn credit toward future purchases, there’s plenty of reason to explore. Especially if you’re already a Quince shopper. And while I certainly don’t need another excuse to browse cashmere sweaters, it seems I’ve found one.
