My September Favorites: Beauty, Fashion & One Very Chic Toothbrush
September was the month I decided to continue to branch out. Yes, there’s plenty of beauty here—sparkly holiday makeup, a new neutral eyeshadow obsession, lipstick and an SPF that has earned permanent handbag status. But this month’s Most Loved list also includes a barn jacket, boots, jewelry and, in a plot twist no one saw coming, a toothbrush.
The common denominator? These are the things I genuinely reached for, wore, used and loved this month. Some are brand-new discoveries, some have already become staples, and at least one required me to attempt modeling on Instagram. I remain committed to beauty editing... a modeling career is still under review. Here are my eight Most Loved from September.

Chantecaille Bijoux d'Or Collection
Chantecaille’s 2026 Holiday collection is exactly the kind of holiday makeup I love: festive and sparkly without looking like the makeup equivalent of a Christmas tree. This collection brings plenty of shimmer, but in that sophisticated, beautifully executed way Chantecaille does so well. And the highlighter compacts? Almost too pretty to use. Almost. The packaging alone makes these feel special, but what I love most is that the collection still feels elegant and wearable long after the holidays are over.
Westman Atelier Toujours Fête Eyeshadow
This one is very new to my collection—and it has already managed to elbow its way to the front of the neutral-eyeshadow line. This eyeshadow palette may technically be a holiday release, but there is absolutely nothing here that needs to be packed away with the ornaments in January. The shades are polished, sophisticated and extremely wearable, which makes this an easy year-round palette for me. I love a neutral eye, so the competition in this category is not exactly lacking. Right now, this is the one to beat.
Dior Invisible UV Stick SPF 50
Living in Miami means I don’t really have an “SPF season.” January? SPF. July? SPF. Random Tuesday when the rest of the country is wearing sweaters? Still SPF. What I love about this; is how easy it makes reapplication. The stick format is convenient, portable and easy to toss into my bag, so I can actually reapply sunscreen without turning it into an event. And yes, the Dior packaging helps. If I have to pull sunscreen out of my handbag all year long, it might as well be chic.
Givenchy Le Rouge Lip Line
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably already seen me rave about these. Givenchy recently gifted me several of the new Le Rouge Satin Lipsticks and Le Rouge Hydra Balms, and it was pretty much love at first swipe. The Satin Lipsticks deliver that polished, classic lipstick look, while the Hydra Balms give you comfort and hydration with a little luxury thrown in. My lipstick drawer did not need these beautiful reinforcements, but no one consulted the drawer.
J.Crew 1986 Barn Jacket
We need to separate the jacket from the modeling performance. The J.Crew 1986 Barn Jacket was excellent. The person attempting to model it on Instagram remains a work in progress. 😉 This has quickly become one of my favorite transitional pieces. It’s classic, easy to throw on with jeans and has just enough structure to make an outfit look pulled together without trying too hard. For those of you experiencing an actual fall, it’s a great layering jacket. For those of us in Miami, it’s perfect for restaurants, meetings and any other establishment where the air conditioning suggests they’re storing frozen seafood in the next room.
Toms Delilah Heeled Boot
And naturally, once we have the jacket, we need the boots. These are one of those wonderfully useful pairs that can go in several directions: jeans, dresses, casual, a little more dressed up. They also happen to look particularly good with my J.Crew Barn Jacket, which means September accidentally produced an entire fall outfit. Whether Miami will ever provide the corresponding fall weather is another matter entirely.
Mejuri Open Dôme Pavé Set
Last time around, I featured a Mejuri bangle and earrings that I loved so much I did the only reasonable thing: went back for more. This time, it's the Open Dôme Pavé Necklace and Earrings. They’re elegant without feeling overly formal and have just enough sparkle to make them perfect for date night, dinner or an event where you want your jewelry to be noticed without having it enter the room before you do. I love the set together, but both pieces are beautiful enough to wear separately—which, in my world, dramatically improves the cost-per-wear math.
Suri Sonic 2.0 Toothbrush
A great smile does not rely on lipstick alone. An electric toothbrush may be the unexpected entry on this month’s list, but I’m genuinely impressed. It’s sleek, thoughtfully designed and manages to make something as decidedly unglamorous as brushing your teeth feel a little more elevated. And considering how much time I spend discussing lipstick, lip balm and everything else that goes on or around the mouth, perhaps a toothbrush isn’t such a strange addition after all.
Final Thoughts
September gave us a little bit of everything: holiday beauty arriving before I've emotionally accepted that summer is over, a new neutral palette to obsess over, lipstick, SPF, fall fashion that Miami may or may not allow me to wear, jewelry and a surprisingly chic toothbrush. In other words, a perfectly normal month around here.
Now tell me: what did you love in September? DM me on Instagram, because I’m always happy to discover something else I absolutely do not need.
